GENTLE YOGA/SLOW FLOW

Never been to yoga? New to fitness? Suffer from arthritis or any sports-related injury? Come and learn the basics of yoga! For all levels of fitness and flexibility, beginners and first time students welcome! 

 

VINYASA

Vinyasa classes are taught in a non-competitive environment, with teachers offering variations for all levels of students, allowing students to work at their own pace. Multi-level and open to all students, but not recommended for first-time students. Some basic knowledge of yoga poses and alignment strongly recommended. Introduction to inversions, more challenging back bends and arm balances. Every NJ Yoga Zone class is structured to include a physical yoga workout, an emphasis on complete breathing and a relaxing cool down. The specifics of each class are tailored to address the individual needs and experience of the students. 

 

HOT YOGA

Consist of slow flows with longer holds. The room is heated to about 85 degrees. Teachers offer variations for all levels of students, allowing students to work at their own pace. Multi-level and open to all students, but not recommended for those who do not enjoy heat! The specifics of each class are tailored to address the individual needs and experience of the students. 

 

BEACH YOGA

Find your zen!  Relax in the morning sun while gazing at the ocean.  Beach Yoga is an All Levels Class, perfect for anyone looking to experience yoga in a beautifully serene setting.  Bring a beach towel or mat (beach towels are better than getting your mat sandy!)

 

VINYASA +

A challenge! Explore and push yourself to the your edge. A vigorous, athletic class emphasizing cardiovascular fitness and core strength. Prepare to sweat. Excellent for gym buffs who want to compliment their workouts or for anyone ready to take their yoga practice to the next level. Not recommended for first time students to yoga. Basic knowledge of yoga poses and alignment strongly recommended.

 

BREATH VINYASA

Class focuses on breathing while flowing….a challenge!

 

REFORMER PILATES/GROUP REFORMER PILATES

Lengthen and tone in small group (max 4) using Reformer machines and Spring Wall. Private sessions available.

 

JUMPBOARD

An unbelievable cardio experience using jumpboards on the reformer. Improve endurance as you tone – Absolutely amazing!

 

BARRE PILATES

Use the Refomer machine and ballet barre to tone, strengthen and lengthen all muscle groups. Get ready to move your body along to some fabulous beats! Sculpt your bdy to the best body you've EVER had!

 

BIKRAM

Bikram Yoga is a series of 24 hatha yoga postures and 2 breathing exercises. These 26 postures treat every muscle, nerve and cell in the body. The postures are performed in the same order each class with increasing precision (to each students ability). The 90 minute class is taught in a heated room in order to enhance the stretching, balancing, and strengthening of the body's circulatory, digestive, endocrine, nervous, and immune systems. The heat assists in cleansing the body of toxins, regenerating the cells, and loosening the muscles, tendons, and ligaments to safely stretch.An experience! The room is heated to 105 degrees to insure a total body cleansing. No prior yoga experience necessary. Please come hydrated and ready to sweat!

 

DETOX FLOW

Each day, we are exposed to toxins—through the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the products we use. DETOX FLOW will help you explore and push yourself to your edge while releasing harmful toxins. A vigorous, athletic class emphasizing cardiovascular fitness and core strength. Prepare to sweat. Room may be heated.
